Hello and welcome to the Year Five Blog!

If you are new to the Year Five Blog then please let me extend an extremely warm welcome to you and I hope you enjoy reading our weekly posts.I tend to publish a new post every weekend so please do 'check this space'!
The aim of the Year Five Blog is to keep you up to date with what we get up to also you know what is coming up.
Your feedback is invaluable so do please feel free to write in the Comments section at the end of the post.

So, what a fabulous start we have had! The children look incredibly smart and tidy, fully equipped and are ready and raring to get going. Brilliant!

Hopefully, you have received a copy of Ms Seymour's Welcome Letter...

If not, please let your child's Homebase Tutor know as soon as possible!

Drop In Sessions
Just to remind you that the Year Five Team are available every Monday between 3.30pm - 3.45pm. If you just want to pop in to have a quick chat with the teacher or have a look at your child's work then please feel free to do so. If you need to see your child's teacher on a one to one basis then please do contact them to make an appointment.

Reading Records
On Monday, your children will be given a sparkling new Reading Record! When you listen to your child read, please remember to complete an entry - your child's Golden Time might depend on it!

CHAT

Every Monday and Thursday lunchtime, Ms Seymour runs a drop in session called CHAT in the Year Five Quiet Room. All children are welcome to attend, they just need to remember to eat their lunch first.

So, roll on Monday when all the fun and games start!
Have a good weekend everybody and I'll see you back here next week!

Mrs Ray
(who is gradually getting used to the early morning starts!!!)
